CredoID version 4.13 brings new devices, huge time savings and convenience for integrators

CredoID v4.13 is now available. It introduces two important improvements in Mercury and HID hardware management for installers and integrators.

New: Controller firmware updates from UI, faster data synchronization

  • Controller and module firmware updates straight from CredoID user interface. The feature will also notify the Operator when a new device firmware is detected and allow to update it conveniently, without having to access each device individually. With an average firmware update taking 5-10 minutes, and a major upgrade taking up to 45 minutes, the feature brings enormous time savings on system maintenance.
  • Enhanced dynamic controller data synchronization. We have optimized controller data uploads so that any changes are pushed much faster and require much less attention to device synchronization.

Other notable updates in CredoID 4.13 include user photo acquisition from a webcam and addition of Alerts to CredoID Mobile Manager and compatibility enhancements for both iOS and Android apps.

Updates are already available to eligible customers at www.credoid.com and Apple and Google Play stores.

TANLOCK server locks from FATH Mechatronics

Midpoint Security will introduce Tanlock datacenter lock integration in CredoID access control platform at ISC EAST 2023 in New York.

German manufacturer FATH Mechatronics specializes in high-security and high-reliability datacenter cabinet locks. TANLOCK 3 is the top-level modular electromechanical solution for the most demanding environments.

Integrated into CredoID access control platform, TANLOCK 3 offers:

  • Easy device detection and configuration
  • User and credential management, event registration and direct lock control from CredoID interface
  • Multiple authentication modes with interchangeable modules
  • IP65 ingress protection, vandal and water resistance
  • HID iClass, Mifare / Desfire and Legic credential compatibility
  • PoE and USB-C power

Tanlock devices will become available for ordering through Midpoint Security partner network, and CredoID will be offered through Tanlock sales channels starting December, 2023.
